Where to File your Application

Contact Us  >>  Where to File your Application

Immigration FormsU.S. Immigration Support (this website) does not file applications on behalf of applicants. We are a publisher of immigration guides.

There are various locations in which you can file your application. Locations vary depending upon where you reside.  If you live abroad, you can usually file your application at the nearest United States Embassy or Consulate.

If you reside in the United States, the filing location depends upon several factors, such as your current address and the type of application you are submitting. Some applications must be filed with one of the four USCIS Service Centers instead of the local District Office or Sub-Office in your area.

There are different types of immigration offices:
  • Asylum Offices
  • USCIS District Offices and Sub-Offices
  • USCIS Application Support Centers
  • USCIS Field Offices
Locate a USCIS Office
Our U.S. immigration guides and packages contain a complete list of all USCIS offices around the country. Download any immigration guide on our website for an up-to-date list of USCIS offices. Hard copy application guides also contain a complete list of USCIS offices.

Locate a U.S. Embassy or Consulate
The United States has Embassies and Consulates in almost every country in the world.

IMPORTANT: Please do not send us your visa, Green Card, citizenship documentation, or any other type of application. You should submit them to the nearest United States Embassy, Consulate or to the appropriate USCIS office.

Do not hesitate to email us if you require any further assistance.
